Summary

Beatport is looking for an experienced hands-on leader to manage our digital marketing efforts across our platforms including our e-commerce store and streaming site. This role will work on a cross-functional team to drive business and brand growth. Develop digitally led program ideas, lead internal teams and oversee the daily execution of marketing strategies to drive acquisition and retention on multiple digital platforms, supporting strategic brand objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Drive traffic, conversion and ROI for all digital acquisition channels, including paid search, natural search/SEO, affiliate, remarketing, display, email and some social media.
  • Seek optimization and growth through performance analysis, customer segmentation, creative partnership, commerce.
  • Manage budget as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs.
  • Oversee digital marketing investments, including SEO, ASO, search advertising, social media advertising, and, of course, email marketing.
  • Oversee performance analytics for all marketing investments, using both Google Analytics and in-house analytical tools and resources.
  • Build, manage and coach a performance-based digital marketing team that aligns with company culture and values.
  • Work collaboratively with product development, artist teams, brand partnerships, and other departments to create and execute on common company goals.
  • Develop and support digital strategies to drive brand growth from an omnichannel strategy including geo-targeting to boost store traffic, and drive registrations for streaming.
  • In partnership with brand marketing, identify and lead large-scale, multi-channel, 360 acquisition campaigns – potentially with third-party partners.
  • Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to VP Marketing.
  • Effective leadership and motivation skills
  • Strong proficiency in digital trends and best practices
Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in a digital marketing role. You must have a proven track record in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth, be obsessed with marketing performance optimization and analysis, and be able to lead teams. An interest in electronic music doesn't hurt either!
