Summary
Provide leadership and direction in the planning and administration of information technology projects that impact clinical departments. Responsible for all home health education and orientation in the Point of Service program. Ensures that all education is compliant with agency policy, state and federal home health regulations. Identifies learning needs and trends and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development and delivery of software application training program POS. * Participate in the gathering of information completion of implementation project work assignments completion and review of file build. * Shares responsibility of managing the activities requried for a successful implementation of the project. * Shares the responsibility for providing status information to the Product Leader and Project Manager as well as participating with the project team for planning and problem solving, especially related to integration issues. * Involved in the design and build of system files as well as reengineered ineffectual and redundant clinical workflow processes. Project Manager and Implementation Specialist will provide guidance as to the sequence in which to build the various tables, parameters and master fields that reside in the system. * Possesses strong organizational skills and is self-directing. Assist in the product testing to determine if there are any errors in the file/build or the workflow/process re-egineering. * Review the patient migration plan to system. * Educate users on issue escalation procedures and provide live support. * Conduct transition meetings with Project Manager and Implementation Specialist. * Provide education for all POS users Agency wide. * Provide support and education to Agency Supervisors for POS. * Maintain team approach in a collaborative environment with an excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. * Maintains excellent listening and interpersonal skills. * Acts as an educational resource regarding continuing education opportunities (inter/intra-Agency) and provides or arranges for individualized training and education as needed. * Engages in general policy and program formulation for the Agency through participation at committee and performance improvement meeting. * Maintains a detailed understanding and working knowledge of the current clinical applications, their functions and assists with other agency functions as needed.
Ideal Candidate
**Formal Education:** * Bachelor's Degree **Experience:** * 5 years **License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement:** * Yes **Minimum Knowledge:** * Requires advanced knowledge of a specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. **Language Ability:** * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
