Sales Development Representative

Persado’s cognitive content platform generates language that inspires action across a spectrum of digital channels. Powered by cognitive computing technologies, the platform eliminates the random process behind traditional message creation. Persado arms organizations and individuals with “smart content” that maximizes the efficacy of communication with any audience at scale, while delivering unique insight into the specific triggers that drive action.

Persado is looking for a Sales Development Representative based out of New York, NY. This is a key role and is responsible for driving sales of Persado’s marketing persuasion technology through the development and nurturing of senior-level relationships, including Fortune 500 companies.

• Qualify and develop inbound sales leads and respond to product inquiries
• Run email and outbound calling campaigns to generate new sales prospects
• Drive attendance for marketing campaigns and events
• Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in SalesForce.com
• Cold calling prospects regarding our solutions.
• Work with upper level managers and directors to design region specific outbound efforts
• Schedule demonstrations between Sales Representatives and potential customers

What We Want To See:

• 1-5 years’ experience in Lead Generation, Sales, Marketing and/or Recruiting
• Experience working with SalesForce.com or other CRM
• Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills
