Summary
The Senior Director CRM is responsible for developing the University of Phoenix’s CRM strategy across all touchpoints and throughout the student lifecycle. The positions’ primary goal is to drive student acquisition and retention as well as build engagement throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the strategic planning, development and implementation of our CRM marketing initiatives, including email, and direct mail marketing throughout the customer (student) lifecycle. 2. Simplify and lead optimization efforts for an efficient contact strategy. 3. Develop and evolve a dynamic customer segmentation strategy that increases the efficiency of the marketing channel, while effectively engaging and delivering on the desired outcomes. 4. Introduce new database marketing strategies and A/B tests to optimize marketing messages and customer segments. 5. Manage relationships with 3rd party partners and agency partners that support our CRM marketing initiatives 6. Oversee development and implementation of an email marketing strategy. 7. Track and analyze user behavior to optimize engagement and retention. 8. Develop strong collaborative relationships with our marketing, operations, legal compliance, brand, creative, content, academic, and student enrollment teams to develop multi-channel marketing strategies and ensure consistency of brand and marketing messages. 9. Responsible for leading employees through change, providing support and professional development in succession planning, talent management, coaching and performance management activities. 10. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, data sciences, business or other related field required * 7 years of experience in personalization capability development and operationalization, Customer Relationship Management, Decision and Data Management, database marketing, direct marketing, e-mail marketing or, related experience and/or training * 3 years of experience in database marketing and customer segmentation, with email marketing planning and strategy, including in dynamic segmentation * • 3 years of experience managing a team and developing their functional expertise and thought leadership **Additional Requirements** * Analytical background with the ability to design A/B tests that yield statistical results to optimize database marketing campaigns * Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data-driven decision making * Understanding of personalization domains across advertising, search, email, mobile, website, call center, etc. * Strong knowledge of marketing technology and personalization tools, platforms and partners * Translating business goals into meaningful business requirements * Previous experience with successful budget management * Strong relationship management skills-managing/leading agencies and partners * Strong collaboration skills * Clear understanding of ROI analysis * Proficiency with ecommerce solutions and analytical tools, email and CRM platforms * Exceptional written, verbal communication * Ability to effectively present reports and projects, as well as, proposals and recommendations to executive management, external parties, staff meetings, and other key audiences.
