Summary
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Healthy Paws. The Senior Financial Analyst, located in Bellevue, WA, is viewed as a business partner and adviser who works with the management team and Business Operations team on the timely completion of Accounting and Business Operations tasks and projects that enable Healthy Paws to achieve its near and long term objectives.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means with internal and external parties * Process daily cash transactions and deposits * Complete month end close activities through the financial statements * Prepare flash results and written commentary * Assist with monthly forecast and written commentary * Assist with year-end budget preparation * Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for management * Complete monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts * Maintain and manage referring partners set up and payments * Document and maintain work instructions * Assist with set up of internal controls and SOX * Assist with year-end audit * Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Ideal Candidate
**Required Experience:** * 4 – 7 years of related work experience * Skills required for this position include advanced Excel, PowerPoint and database analytics. * Hands on experience using Excel, including pivot tables, V-lookups, graphs, functions, links as well as working with external data. * Strong analytical and financial skills with a customer service focus. * The position requires a self-starter and independent individual who are able to work in a deadline driven environment. * Strong communication skills with all levels of management and is comfortable presenting to business leaders and colleagues **Preferred Experience:** * Knowledge of QuickBooks. * Experience with Macintosh computers. * Knowledge of CashPro * Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley **Education:** Bachelor’s degree, Finance or Accounting major preferred
