Summary
USAA Real Estate Company is growing! We are looking to add dynamic professionals to our team. For this role, we are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Investor Reporting team. Relocation Assistance is negotiable as well.
Responsibilities
* Assist in coordinating quarterly and ad-hoc investor reporting requirements. * Collect information from financial databases to coordinate recurring and ad-hoc reports. * Oversee 3rd party resources to ensure timely and accurate data entry. * Create templates for 3rd parties to utilize on new data requests. * Enhance and streamline data warehouse. * Assist in responding to investor due-diligence inquiries and related questionnaires by assembling applicable data and drafting responses, as appropriate. * Maintain database related to assets under management and current investors. * Coordinate with accounting to reflect proper fund ownership of underlying assets. * Maintain database to reflect investor details and ownership of each fund. * Coordinate and oversee audit confirmation requests with accounting department. * Assist in incorporating edits and modifications to senior management reports. * Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. * Proactively create efficiencies and enhancements to the current process flow. * Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field. * 3+ years experience in an investor reporting analyst role, or equivalent experience, preferably with an institutional real estate advisory firm. * Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). * Intermediate Excel knowledge including pivot tables, vlookups, and use of formulas. * Superior quantitative analysis abilities with strong attention to detail. * Experience with Yardi or similar ERP/reporting tools is preferred. **Key Competencies:** * Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities as appropriate in order to meet reporting deadlines and maintain reporting accuracy. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. * Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills. * Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a variety of situations. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Physical Requirements:** * Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs. * Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization. * Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
