Senior Financial Analyst

* Responsibilities include monitoring various cash flow activities to ensure accurate and timely processing, performing a variety of financial reconciliation to verify accuracy of domestic securities held by Metlife. * Key contributor to ensure accurate reporting of financial results on a monthly/quarterly basis. * Assist in financial data analysis, trending for month-end close , reporting and ad-hoc reports * Cash Flow - Ledger reconciliation of all domestic MetLife entities. * Provide audit support * Review complex transactions and prepare/post journal entries * Prepare pricing accounting * Assist with implementing and maintaining internal controls and document processes. * Perform other related duties as assigned or required

**Required Qualifications** * Working knowledge of GAAP/STAT accounting concepts, principles, and practices. * Financial reconciliation / Cash Flow experience * Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) **Preferred Qualifications** * Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, solve problems and meet deadlines * Demonstrated leadership skills with success in setting goals and competing priorities. * Strong analytical and communication skills * Knowledge of financial reporting systems (PAM, BI Publish, PeopleSoft, FRONTIER) a plus **Required Education** Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
