Responsibilities
* Supports organizational strategy and operations through obtaining and interpreting human capital data needed to monitor progress and drive decisions on key HR initiatives. * Partners with stakeholders from other parts of the organization to understand business challenges and recommend data-driven approaches to addressing them. * Manages key analytics projects, including upfront definition and scoping of project objectives and continued monitoring and reporting on project progress. * Designs and administers surveys and/or develops and utilizes focus group protocols to gather necessary data. * Extracts data from relevant data systems to provide reports, dashboards, and develop scorecards. * Analyzes data to recognize patterns and create insights from business data. Assists in identifying workforce trends, characteristics, and behaviors important to understanding workforce risks and future needs. * Communicates findings to stakeholders. Data Extraction and Analysis (70%) * Accesses relevant HR and other data systems to extract data based on customer needs. * Cleans, matches, and formats datasets for statistical analysis. * Analyses data using appropriate statistical tools and techniques to understand key data trends. * Works with divisional metrics experts and business technology staff to identify and implement the processes to gather key metrics. * Assists in the development of predictive models to communicate anticipated outcomes, conduct scenario forecasting, and guide establishment of human capital targets and benchmarks. Project Management (15%) * Serves as project leader responsible for project direction, project plans, and measurable results; identifies and manages project risks and project timeline. * Implements tools and resources to help plan and manage projects or programs to successful completion. * Interacts, collaborates and negotiates with all project stakeholders, business partners, and management on an ongoing basis. Assesses the impact to other departmental projects and programs and reports project statuses to management. Consultation and Communication (15%) * Consults with stakeholders to understand data needs and identify and provide the most relevant reports, dashboards, and/or scorecards. * Consults with stakeholders to define talent-oriented business challenges, identify potentially relevant data sources, and develop data-driven strategies for answering key talent questions. * Prepares interpretation of analysis results and ensuring recommendations for stakeholders. * Effectively presents and communicates results and recommendations to stakeholders, focusing on practical insights, key takeaways, and actionable next steps.
