Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to provide overall leadership to a variety of functions: Marketing Support, Sales Support and Outcome Solution Support as well as Deal Support that support the Field Sales organization. Position will work with the Sales Leaders to develop sales messages and tools and will be responsible for developing reasonably accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts. Position will also support field sales resources by generating leads, deploying product specialists, creating common processes and aligning compensation and rewards systems with performance.
Responsibilities
* Build a motivated and cohesive Sales Operations leadership team that works together to execute plans and achieve desired results. * Create relevant metrics to establish goals, benchmark performance, and communicate results in an objective manner. * Develop robust and accurate sales forecasting processes and tools to deliver monthly/quarterly forecasts that bring predictability to sales management. * Conduct strategic go-to-market planning for individual markets and products reaching all levels of the Sales organization (cascading down to individual Sales Executive territories and account plans). * Identify opportunities for increased bookings, revenue, or profitability for Allscripts and work in conjunction with other functions within the business to execute against these ideas. * Design Sales Messaging and Tools. * Develop aligned Sales compensation plans with metrics for monthly/quarterly monitoring and tracking. * Build infrastructure and talent to support deal processes; RFP response, quotes, proposals, discount approval, contracting/legal/financial approvals and revenue recognition. * Work closely with Marketing in lead generation and campaign management; create processes for getting leads into the SFA and the feedback loop to quality/disqualify leads and communicate campaign effectiveness back to Marketing. * Develop cross-functional alignment with Finance, Culture and Talent, Information Systems and Business Unites to promote seamless implementation. * Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies. * Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance. * Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance. * Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent. * Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent. * Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner. * Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent. * Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan. * Create team spirit.
Ideal Candidate
**Academic and professional qualifications:** * Clinical degree preferable Physician or advanced nursing with PhD with expertise in healthcare continuous improvement initiatives **Experience:** * Typically requires 12 or more years experience in sales and sales operations with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management (leadership) position. * Proven track record of success in building organizational capacity, team development, change management and team development over a sustained period. * Understanding of Healthcare or IT Industry * Understand the Allscripts products at a deep level that allows guiding the customers with brainstorming solutions to their issues * Experience developing cross functional alignments with Marketting, Clients, and Services groups to execuite client strategy * Expereicne developing hihg functioning teams that drive values and outcomes to our clients, both external and internal. * In-depth expereicne with developing and nurtorting best practices to accomplished value added services and results for out clinets. * Experience identifying increased bookings, revenue and profitability while working in conjunction with other functional areas within the business to execute against these ideas. **Travel requirements:** * Overnight, out-of-town travel required. **Working arrangements:** * No specific requirements
