Responsibilities
* The Assistant Project Manager will assist in effectively planning and controlling assigned projects by monitoring progress, managing procurement and recording production and job costs. * Assist with the development of the project schedule, and budget to ensure project meets initial estimates. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. * Responsible for reviewing all associated contracts, specifications, drawings, scope of work, estimates, subcontractor requirements and other pertinent project information and prepare a project plan for review. * Duties may include attending pre-construction pre-bid meetings and site surveys, and on site management of larger/more complicated projects. * The Assistant Project Manager will be working daily in Microsoft Office and Excel to manage spreadsheets and documents
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field. * Minimum 2 years experience providing project management and field oversight activities; concrete repair experience is a plus. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel is required. * Construction experience with bridges, heavy civil or concrete structures is highly desired.
