Mechanical Department Manager

ADF Engineering is looking for an energetic and confident professional to take charge of our Mechanical Department and to become a part of our team of engineers and designers at our Miamisburg, Ohio home office

• This position offers the opportunity to provide leadership in managing all aspects of the Mechanical Department, including all non-structural CAD functions.

• The Mechanical Department Manager will lead a team of seasoned and competent engineers and designers in a multi-disciplinary, project-based consulting engineering role.

• This position offers both hands-on engineering and project management functions as well as providing strategic leadership for the Mechanical Department and for the company as a whole.

• This position requires a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. An MS and/or MBA are a plus.

• P.E. strongly preferred, or the ability to receive a P.E. within 1 year required; PMP certification desirable.

• 10 years Sr. or Lead level experience, especially as a department manager, ideally in consulting engineering.
