Summary
Each day our Digital Sales Managers actively coach and manage sales executives on selling YP’s comprehensive and powerful digital advertising solutions to achieve revenue objectives.
Responsibilities
**Daily Responsibilities:** - No. 1 responsibility is the management and development of digital sales executives to hit and exceed sales goals on a monthly basis. - Must effectively manage, support and continually update SalesForce and work with sales reps to ensure data quality and the usage of the platform as a toolset. - Manage sales process, reporting and recruitment of sales talent. - Observe sales calls, coach sales executives to optimize results and intervene to resolve performance problems. - Provide guidance and support to develop digital sales executive skill sets by coaching, demonstrations, training, preparation and planning reviews, post contact analysis, etc. - Administer performance reviews and take corrective action as necessary. - Utilize entrepreneurial mindset to manage team through creative communication and marketing strategies to engage local businesses. - Network within the local community to promote the YP brand and services to launch businesses to the next level of success **General Responsibilities:** - Each month you'll be expected to hit budget and have the opportunity to exceed sales goals. - Serve as an industry expert to assist your digital sales executives in educating decision makers on building rapport by keeping up with the latest trends to break down barriers and close sales. - Ensure your team is following processes with accuracy and attention to detail such as collecting data, contracts, etc. and moving them through the appropriate channels. - Engage in opportunities to excel in terms of career growth. Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree and previous sales management experience preferred. - 2-4 years+ of successful digital advertising, business-to-business outside sales experience. - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals. - Highly organized and able to multi-task in an extremely fast paced environment. - Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written). This senior role interacts with clients and vendors on a daily basis. - Must be highly proficient in SalesForce, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
