Application Security Engineer

Work Market is looking for an Application Security Engineer that will serve as the interface between the development team and security team. Your goal will be to ensure the security of Work Market's internal and external applications

* Develop security operation program for Work Market * Analyze, monitor and remediate vulnerabilities of Work Market’s production systems and applications working closely with development, QA and operations team. * Work with different teams to design and implement new systems according to best practices * Design and implement application security process * Design and implement network and infrastructure security process * Train the engineering team on secure coding practices * Be the in-house security expert and raise the overall security awareness throughout the organization

**Must Have:** * BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or 4 years of relevant work experience with some of computer science concepts * Curiosity and drive to make things happen and make things move faster * Excellent oral and written communication * Be a team player and work closely with developers and operations * Strong experience in web application security and understanding of vulnerabilities from front end, backend, database and network/infrastructure. * Solid development background and working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python and others * Good understanding of cryptography and encryption ciphers, best practices * Experience with secure coding guidelines, static and dynamic analysis * Experience in discovering and remediating complex enterprise level security issues * Solid knowledge of regulations and compliances Experience in network scanning and penetration testing **Nice to Have:** * Working experience with Cloud * Working experience with various open source tools * Experience with automated security analysis process * Experience with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration tools * Experience with MySQL or other database systems * Experience in working with white hat analysts and researchers
