* Serving as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications. * Having a basic understanding of the main concepts of Pega PRPC, their features and limitations. * Writing code and unit tests, working on specs, automation, and conducting code reviews and testing. * Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges. * Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement. * Working with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues. * Acts as team lead of small groups to provide business and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, technical design, programming and documentation of information systems. * Provides leadership and facilitation in the definition and development of the technical solution concept, including vision, scope, and system architecture. * Prepares detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will be developed and implemented. * Supports, troubleshoots, and maintains production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on identified issues. * Defines and maintains WellCare Information Systems (IS) development standards and best practices. **Additional Responsibilities:** * After hours work and on-call availability may be required to support deployments or upgrades to production systems to avoid system downtime during business hours. * Infrequent travel (less than 10%) may be required to support off-site deployments and configuration, system administration, and professional training.

* Develop software utilizing Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for both Business Process Management and Business Rules Development initiatives Orchestrate Pega activities, rule sets, web services, zip files in order to support Pega Business Process Management and Business Rules Development. * Support post-production activities, include defect resolution and on-call. * Must have technical skills, years of experience in each * At least 5 years of overall experience designing and building robust, distributed enterprise applications. * At least 5 years delivering web based applications using a popular container-based framework like Java/J2EE or Spring, C#/.NET or Ruby on Rails. * Desired technical skills, years of experience in each * At least 7 years of overall experience designing and building robust, distributed enterprise applications. * At least 7 years delivering web based applications using a popular container-based framework like Java/J2EE or Spring, C#/.NET or Ruby on Rails. * At least 2 years - Experience working as a senior developer using a popular object-oriented language, ideally Java or C#, in a commercial setting. * At least 2 years - Experience with PEGA or similar business process automation / improvement or workflow technology (Oracle BPM, etc.). * At least 2 years -
