Software Development Manager

• Manage a staff responsible for all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing technical support.
• Work with the business analysis team and end users to understand both short-term and long-term technology objectives as well as anticipating changes in business requirements.
• Perform hands-on analysis, design, coding and testing to meet business and technical objectives.
• Coordinate with software vendors, where applicable, to manage upgrades and/or maintenance activities including problem resolution.
• Provide ongoing production support for supported applications including problem resolution

• Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in computer science, finance or business-related discipline
• 10+ years of IT experience supporting finance-related functions/systems, preferably treasury-related functions/systems with proven leadership managing a small team of developers
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans to direct both ongoing and project-related activities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Analysis & development experience with Visual Studio, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JAVA, HTML, XML/XSL
• Prior experience working with MQ Messaging protocols a plus
• Strong SQL knowledge (tables, queries, stored procedures, etc.) with Microsoft SQL Server. Additional experience with Oracle SQL a plus.
• Strong Excel knowledge including VBA scripting
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Crystal Reports a plus
