Summary

Analyze,Designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots software in Java and J2EE

Responsibilities

Analysis of business requirements
Design and development of new features
Defect Resolution
Unit Testing
Security and Load Testing
Participate in business requirements reviews.
Participate in code reviews
Assisting the QA team with Functional and regression testing
Assisting the Business Analysis team with requirements gathering

Ideal Candidate

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
Master's degree is a plus.

Preferred skills:

IBM Tools and Products such as WebSphere and DB2
Kanban methodology
NoSQL concepts
Java - Must be proficient in Java
Databases - Must be proficient in SQL and familiar with general database concepts
XML - Must understand XML and related technologies such as XSL, XSD
JSON - Must understand JSON
Verbal and Written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
Experience with Restful Web Services
Experience working in Agile Methodologies
Familiarity with EJB
4-8 years of experience in a professional software development environment
Familiarity with Ruby
Familiarity with UI technologies such as AngularJS
