Software Engineer III

Analyze,Designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots software in Java and J2EE

* Analysis of business requirements * Design and development of new features * Defect Resolution * Unit Testing * Security and Load Testing * Participate in business requirements reviews. * Participate in code reviews * Assisting the QA team with Functional and regression testing * Assisting the Business Analysis team with requirements gathering

**Education/Experience:** * Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. * Master's degree is a plus. **Preferred skills:** * IBM Tools and Products such as WebSphere and DB2 * Kanban methodology * NoSQL concepts * Java - Must be proficient in Java * Databases - Must be proficient in SQL and familiar with general database concepts * XML - Must understand XML and related technologies such as XSL, XSD * JSON - Must understand JSON * Verbal and Written communication skills * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields * Experience with Restful Web Services * Experience working in Agile Methodologies * Familiarity with EJB * 4-8 years of experience in a professional software development environment * Familiarity with Ruby * Familiarity with UI technologies such as AngularJS
