Product Manager for Operations and Go-to-Market

At Vertical, we build innovative software products for business of all sizes across many vertical industries including retail, automotive, healthcare & more. As part of the Product Management team, you will be responsible for the operations and go-to-market for our family of products. This is an entry-level position with fantastic growth opportunity. We are a small, nimble and a non-hierarchical organization. Our senior leadership team welcomes out of box thinkers with fresh ideas. Our product managers work closely with customers, partners and engineering to guide products from conception to launch.
- You are responsible for managing the operations, readiness, and Go-to-Market for our family of products – Wave IP, unified communication web apps, mobile apps, endpoints, and cloud-based apps.
- You’re hands on, passionate, and collaborative. You get things done.
- You’re structured, organized and enjoy driving cross organization teams (sales, marketing, support, engineering etc.) as well as customers.
- Build long-lasting relationships and deep understanding of our partners’ needs and priorities.
- Partner with senior leadership team to define and drive requirements for new go-to-market initiatives including strategic partnerships.
- Drive internal alpha trials and external beta with end customers.
- Partner with corporate marketing to communicate product updates, notifications, product pricing to channel partners.
- Manage and coordinate our cloud offering including order processing, integration with Vertical.com and document usage adoption and reports.
- Coordinate mobile application submission to app store, adoption with end users.
- Solicit market needs and product feedback via online surveys.
- • Provide webinars and training to channel partners and customers on product launches.
- 2+ years equivalent real-world experience in software development or project management. MBA is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, project management, written communications and people skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude to rapidly learn and internalize new products and technologies.
- Prior experience playing team lead or project manager/coordinator role is a huge plus.
- Experience coordinating activities across business - engineering, operations, sales and support teams.
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following is a big plus: VoIP/PBX, Mobile application; cloud application delivery, software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with channel partners or end customers for go-to-market readiness is a big plus.
