Senior Business Analyst

This position will provide analytic support for Vantiv's credit card processing operation as a member of the Billing & Payments Analyst Team. The team supports over $5B in annual billing revenue collection across multiple billing and partner payment platforms. At an inflection point, we are developing the future applications and retiring legacy applications to position the organization for rapid new product deployment and future acquisitions. The analyst will interact with a broad range of departments including IT, Product, Sales, Strategy, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Accounting. The role involves working in an agile development framework to deliver value to business partners. The role requires the ability to perform complex analyses and reporting. The individual will become a subject matter expert in multiple areas and proactively seek out areas for internal improvement. High caliber analytical and technical skills are required.

* Support agile development team of billing applications in product owner capacity * Leverage advanced analytic skills to assess and document existing processes and procedures * Identify opportunities for process improvement, Lean Sigma or similar experience desired. * Participate in strategic analysis of operation KPI measurement and dashboard reporting * Act as subject matter expert for credit card transaction margin components * Present reporting and analyses in professional manner * Document processes and procedures * Research more effective technical resources, tools, and methods * Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products and services * Actively participate in team meetings and 1 on 1 communications * Provide manager with proactive updates * Accept assignments with open, cooperative, positive, and team oriented attitude * Proactively increase knowledge through internal resources, supervisors, fellow employees, company trainings, and trade publications * Perform as a team player; respected by peers and team members * Adhere to company policies as defined

**Education and Experience** Bachelor's or Master's degree in math, finance, accounting, economics, business, computers science or other related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis. Financial Services experience preferred. Relevant experience includes: Operational Data Analysis/Modeling, Financial Analysis/Modeling, Sales Data Analysis/Modeling, Reporting, Forecasting, Quality Assurance, Testing **Required Knowledge** * Ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets * Advanced Excel knowledge and skills, including: * Forecast modeling with complex assumption sets * Formula functions * Database functions * Pivot table functions * Strong mathematic and logic proficiency * Knowledge of all other Microsoft Office products * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Excellent presentation skills **Skills/Abilities** * Proven team player * Proactive troubleshooting, listening, and problem solving skills * Critical thinking using logic and reason * Strong written and oral communication * Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines * Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment * Ability to interact with a diverse population * Ability to work on computer for long periods of time * Ability to accept and evolve with changes in policies and procedures
