Summary
The Manager/Director, Asset Management will engage in a cross-functional role within the Asset Management department to help achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. Provide oversight of key Asset Management procedures and reporting requirements. Identify and implement methods and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency throughout the department. Lead and coordinate new projects and initiatives by collaborating with various internal and external resources. Facilitate the adoption and integration of technology/software solutions.
Responsibilities
* Provide process oversight and interdepartmental coordination of Asset Management requirements such as: annual business plans, external/internal procedure audits, annual property budgets, quarterly property valuation process and investor reporting. * Determine best practices for various processes and create/maintain written procedures. * Oversee the calculation and distribution of various department metrics, goals, and risk assessments. * Engage on the implementation of data analysis/business intelligence solutions such as information dashboards, automated reporting, etc.. * Collaborate with the IT department on the administration of Argus Enterprise software and others as needed.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree required. * 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate. * Experience in a project management or leadership role. **Preferred Qualifications:** * 3+ years of experience in an Asset Management role. * Proficiency in ARGUS software. **Physical Requirements:** * Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs. * Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization. * Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
