Senior Service Reliability Engineer

You have experience working with high capacity, fault tolerant, and horizontally scalable infrastructures. You have been involved in the design and implementation of automation, deployment, and monitoring systems both bare metal and AWS. You thrive in environments where you have to manage competing priorities. You can analyze system behavior to tease out performance gains and squash configuration issues. You excel in maintaining healthy distributed databases, web servers, deploying the odd email/smtp server, running load testing, and backing up mission critical data. You know when to use caching, write naming services, and are a syslog master.

* Linux system administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation * Service configuration for dozens of interconnected applications, ranging from web servers to databases and home grown services * Performance analysis and tuning for applications, databases, everything in between * Tool creation to help automate and conduct functional tests of infrastructure * On-call rotation participation * Thorough status and configuration of production systems? documention
