Summary
Reporting to the Area General Manager, the Manager Installation and/or Service role will be responsible to oversee a combination of service and/or installation team leaders within a defined geography, based on the needs of the area. This position will be responsible for constantly improving the level of service provided to Tyco’s internal and external customer base by delivering to the goals set forth by the organization.

**Competencies** * Motivating others * Drive for Results * Customer Focus * Managerial Courage * Conflict management * Command skills * Composure * Timely decision making * Priority Setting **Job Responsibilities** * Customer satisfaction across installation and/or service with customers in the defined geography. * Partner with the Regional Manager, Installation and Services to align the activity and priorities of the Region with that of the area. * Partner with ASMs to identify areas of improvement and delivery, championing and driving results. * Ensure organizational initiatives are executed in accordance with corporate goals and budgets. * Communicate new policies, installation and/or service techniques, and other modifications to management teams. * Establish and maintain a programs consisting of a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention. Achieve TycoIS metrics. Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results. * Drive operating efficiencies. Develop and maintain an effective Installation and/or Service workforce through a variety of recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and coaching techniques * Research and share “Best Practices” with the installation and/or service team. * Champion Zero Harm. Ensure that safety is kept at the forefront of all messaging and that business practice is aligned with a safety first philosophy. Ensure that all safety goals are achieved and that all safety related initiative deadlines are met. * Champion the Performance Management Culture. Mentor and motivate direct reports to improve effectiveness and to address performance gaps. Conduct performance reviews/assessments, as required. * Utilize Performance Metrics continually to ensure “what gets measured, gets done.” * Work with the Area General Manager to ensure all financial and operational targets are met. * Recruit, interview and select new Installation Team Managers, as required. * Approve progress reports, expense reports and other related documents. * Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and new developments. * Keep associates and customers informed of any industry changes. * Develop work force size to efficiently accommodate subscriber-related workloads. * Adhere to and drive Tyco core values * Other duties, as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Education & Experience** * University College degree, Associates degree or equivalent 2-year electronic trade school training. * 5 years of supervisory or mid-level management experience within a field service based company.
