Summary
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that positively impact key metrics for NetSpend’s partner and retail channels including activation and funding rates, direct deposit penetration, and retention. You’ll execute campaigns that contribute to increased cardholder engagement and lifetime value using a variety of marketing channels and supporting multiple card brands. You’ll work very closely with key account managers and other cross functional internal teams to deliver loyalty, retention, and feature-based campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Manage lifecycle marketing programs from concept through implementation – building business requirements, key objectives, customer communications, and measuring campaign results - Synthesize and interpret customer, campaign and research data into tangible, action-oriented strategies to increase cardholder engagement, retention and LTV - Deliver measurable, effective multi-channel marketing campaigns across web, email, SMS, IVR, in-app messaging, direct mail, and social media channels - Ability to excel in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and deliver projects on time with a strong willingness to take ownership and initiative - Provide direction to internal and external creative resources to develop new, multi-channel, marketing materials; ability and willingness to copy write and mock-up creative concepts/marketing assets for stakeholder review, if creative resources are limited - Collaborate with marketing managers across the enterprise to regularly share insights, develop ideas, and scale new programs - Create test and learn strategies and campaigns to optimize conversion, engagement, and retention
Ideal Candidate
- 7 or more years of progressive responsibility in B2C or B2B marketing - Experience with retention, lifecycle, customer relationship management or loyalty programs - Experience in retail, financial services and credit, debit or prepaid card marketing a plus - Experience with marketing automation or campaign management systems - Strong analytic mindset focused on testing and measuring impact of initiatives and programs - Experience using campaign results to determine the effectiveness of marketing efforts, provide analysis, set priorities, and initiate new campaigns. - Excellent written, presentation, interpersonal, and people influencing skills - Experience copywriting and putting together creative briefs - Strong work ethic, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in tandem with ability to multi-task and prioritize work; requiring minimal supervision - Passion for managing customer relationships and creating a best-in-class product and customer experience - As provided in NetSpend’s Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
