Mobile Developer

We’re looking for a developer who is passionate about building top-notch mobile applications that wow our customers. Our mobile developers are expected to be fearless and willing to develop both Android and iOS applications. As a member of the TSheets development team you will have the opportunity and satisfaction of working in a fast paced environment where your code changes will make it into user’s hands rapidly without long drawn out release schedules. We expect our developer’s to be team oriented individuals who are able to leave their ego at the door and work with a team to build a product we can be proud of.

• Maintain Android and iOS codebase for apps used by hundreds of thousands of users.
• Help define and build new features in a clean and modular way that is easily tested.
• Assist in the design process for the TSheets REST API
• Work to resolve application issues reported by our users.
• Be willing to occasionally learn and work outside of your comfort zone (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS).
• Receive implementation feedback in the form of code reviews and design reviews by other team members.

• Solid understanding of basic software patterns and data structures.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON using standard HTTP request format.
• Experience with object oriented software development (preferably Objective C or Java).
• Experience building applications and test cases to validate implementation.
• Comfortable working in multiple development environments using a variety of different tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database fundamentals.
