Web Developer

The Senior Web Developer supports our public-facing websites and mobile initiatives. Relationships are critical as this role works heavily with our DEV/QA teams as well as mobile partners.

1 Website Management * Work independently and with a team to create JavaScript and HTML/CSS markup and templates with a strong focus on clarity, maintainability, cross-browser compatibility and performance. * Develop and lead the implementation of front-end web coding and design standards, writing clear, clean, and concise code. * Work with designers, developers and testers to contribute to the overall user experience of the website(s). * Integrate web services (RESTful, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) into useful web based content. * Evaluate and choose HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries and frameworks to best meet the needs of a particular application/project. * Experience utilizing services to create dynamic driven websites. * Responsible for light front end PHP development to support the website. * Some day-to-day content support. 80% 2 Miscellaneous projects * Contribute to the My24 mobile application (iPhone, iPad, and android). * Support other interactive projects for the company (such as kiosks, in-club enterprise systems, etc.). 20% Total 100%

* Expert in HTML (HTML 5), CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), XML (and putting them together AJAX). * Knowledge of PHP or other similar coding language. * Ability to develop mobile applications and/or mobile versions of a website. * Ability to code mobile applications for iOS and Android. * Ability to perform code reviews. * Expert with Adobe CS web tools. * Good knowledge of the web environment (databases, middle-tier functions, back-end coding). * Ability to work with Content Management Systems. * Strong attention to detail. * Creative and solutions oriented, with a keen ability to find new ways to accomplish tasks. * Great communication skills and ability to work across channels and departments. * Solid understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented design & development principles. * Understanding of the enterprise software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning. **Minimum Educational Level/Certifications** * 4 year degree or equivalent experience * Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications * 5 years web development experience. * Experience integrating with Content Management Systems. * Experience utilizing services to create dynamic driven websites. * 2 years of experience coding mobile applications for iOS and Android. * Experience with enterprise web application development. **Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions** * Work is performed in a standard office environment without unpleasant or hazardous conditions. * Required to work standard office equipment. * Ability to work on a computer up to 8 hours a day. * Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk. * Required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment. * Close vision required for computer usage. * Work is performed in a standard office environment without unpleasant or hazardous conditions. **Travel Requirement** * Minimal travel required. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Educational Level/Certifications * Work Experience and Qualification * Experience with developing responsive design driven websites and implementation of progressive enhancement techniques.
