Summary
We are looking for an exceptional sales professional to join our Consumer Licensing Sales team in San Francisco Bay Area. As a key contributor to Licensing Business, the Consumer Licensing team leverages TomTom’s wealth of location assets across the group in order to deliver relevant, fresh and high-quality digital maps & traffic content and software services globally to customers ranging from mobile device manufacturers, mobile operating system vendors, telecom operators, application developers, wearables providers and Internet-of-Things companies.
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible hunting for new customers and business opportunities in the segment. This includes development of business plans, long-term objectives, pricing strategy and watching over developments within the customers’ organizations and in the industry, which may affect our future business; * Your objective is to hunt for new clients and grow the overall revenue through sales of content products and software services to our strategic customer base in North America; * You deliver on revenue targets and drive for Licensing Business revenue growth leveraging TomTom’s content products and software services; * You understand and anticipate customers’ needs and challenges and articulate business value at executive level; * You’ll report to the VP Sales & Marketing, Global Consumer Licensing team. * Assess sales opportunities, analyze the competition, develop and execute a winning strategy together with internal and external stakeholders; * Drive for customer excitement and act as customer advocate to exceed customer expectations on product and software deliverables and relationship management; * Develop account plans and strategy to manage business against individual quota (monthly, quarterly and annual plan); * Close strategic deals and manage upsell opportunities as well as contract requirements and obligations; * Demonstrate superior negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to develop long-term customer relationship.
Ideal Candidate
* University degree in sales, marketing, geography or related field; * Minimum 7 years’ experience of managing global, multi-million and strategic account relationships; * Successful track record of building strong relationships with customers and partners on executive level; strong background in licensing sales and business development; * A consistent track record of over achieving sales goals; * Sales experience within high-tech companies in one of the following industries: Location-based Services, Telecommunications, Mobile, System Integration, IT Consulting, Wearables or Internet-of-Things; * Proven experience in negotiating and closing complex licensing business contracts with long sales cycles; * Excellent communication, presentation and consultative selling skills; * A self-motivated, results driven, resilient, team player with a flexible and entrepreneurial mindset; * Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
