Summary
As a product designer, you’ll be expected to create clean, great looking product designs and passionately advocating for the user in your work and feedback. We’re looking for a seasoned pro—a critical thinker with sharp intuition who’s comfortable talking about design as it relates to the needs of the business. As an instrumental part of the design team, your insights will not only help influence product development, but will also provide valuable perspective to branding and marketing initiatives across the company.
Responsibilities
* Design human-centric flows and experiences that are as user-friendly as they are beautiful. * Continually raise the bar for design by working closely with fellow designers, product managers, and engineers to give and solicit valuable cross-departmental feedback. * Improve the usability of our product by incorporating user research methods to guide the design, development, and refinement of the work. * Create influential design presentations that are supported by well-crafted and strategically sound design executions. * Contribute to high-level strategic meetings and decisions with the executive product teams.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements** * 4+ years of experience in product design. * Solid portfolio with mobile and web-based projects. * Strong interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills. * Human-centric approach to designing products. * The belief that collaboration makes for a better product and culture. * HTML & CSS skills are a plus **About you** * You’re a natural problem solver who loves a good challenge. You also know that the first answer is rarely the best answer. * You have a ton of empathy and care about understanding the user’s needs and wants. * You always come to the table with more than one option, thoughtfully exploring different directions and how they impact the user’s experience. * You can articulate design choices and strategy in a way that’s easily understood by team members from all departments across the company.
