Summary
The right candidate will lead UX design of all the management software products at Gigamon. Working as part of a growing, dynamic team, the candidate will thrive in a cross functional team environment to lead and shape the UX efforts at Gigamon and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact to the product lines.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the UX design and provide the vision and leadership for the next generation of Fabric Management products/functions * Work with and guide UX/UI team towards creation of design artifacts like wireframes, workflow diagrams, storyboards, design specifications, high fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes * Create, manage and evangelize design guidelines, best practices and standards to ensure consistent user experience and interfaces across products * Collaborate with peers across the company to drive UX strategy and vision * Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and engineers throughout the lifecycle of the product to realize design vision * Work with customers and third-parties to understand their requirements and feedback
Ideal Candidate
* Strong UX design experience and knowledge with at least 8+ years of professional experience preferably in the security, networking, datacenter or cloud management products * Ability to work with a number of stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineering team and customers to develop world class products * Ability to take a high-level vision and translate it into actionable artifacts towards the design and development the final product. * Expertise in visual design, prototyping and the delivery of HTML/CSS/JS templates * Ability to lead/mentor UX team * A strong portfolio of work / samples of interaction design is a must * Formal education in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, HCI or related field
