Car Sales Assistant Manager

* Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership * Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity and accountability. * Accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments and call follow-up * Train and direct a team of Car Sales Representatives * Must be a strong closer willing to engage customers early in the sale to obtain maximum gross * Actively support, encourage and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high morale * Assist in managing profitable wholesale and retail transactions through Car Sales Consultant and F & I Teams * Finalizing Purchase, Trade-in, and Sales agreements, contracts, etc. * Motivating Team members * Lot display, inventory management & pricing * Assist in managing a cost efficient and quality reconditioning process * Utilizing e-commerce tools, ie social media, listing services, inventory systems, etc * Executing advertising and promotional plans * Assisting with various Remarketing initiatives * Assist in managing Rent 2 Buy sales and related processes * Work closely with Hertz Rental facilities

* Tech-savvy, early-adopter of new technology * Resourceful * Proven track record of exceeding goals * Capable of providing superior Customer service to internal/external Customers (Great CSI) * Experienced with social media marketing * Experienced with Microsoft Office * Passionate * Energetic * Able to lead by example **Educational Background:** * High School Diploma or equivalent **Professional Experience:** * Three years’ experience in car sales * Previous F+I experience * Valid Drivers’ License and a clean record **Skills:** * Capable of delivering * Able to succeed in a global, matrix organization * Desire to excel * Able to garner support from Stakeholders on all initiatives * Stable work history **Preferred Requirements :** Hertz is a Drug-Free Workplace.
