Warehouse Manager

* Leads and manages the warehouse supervisors and employees with emphasis on building a strong team in the spirit of the corporate values and culture including coaching, communicating and delegating responsibilities. Initiates periodic staff meetings. Establishes and communicates the department or company’s goals, mission and vision. Oversees the use of company benefits. Provides timely performance feedback and evaluations including salary reviews and adjustments. Maintains up-to-date employee records and documentation. Ensures all required job responsibilities are performed meeting the company’s high quality standards. Ensures the employees are fully trained and qualified to complete their position responsibilities and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures. Responsible for hiring and dismissing staff, as needed. * Responsible for managing and overseeing all of the activities associated with the Warehouse and Delivery areas. * Responsible for the security and maintenance of the building and grounds so that the property is neat and safe within BSE and government standards. * Oversees the supervisor responsible for maintenance and safe operations of all warehouse equipment and vehicles in accordance with BSE, our vendors and/or any government standards. * Responsible for assuring current driver records are maintained to satisfy our requirements and the requirements of all state and federal regulations. Responsible to make sure all drivers meet Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL) requirements if they drive trucks that are above 26,000 lbs. * Oversees the supervisor responsible for performing the appropriate SAP functions to assure the warehouse and deliveries run as efficiently and accurately as possible. * Leads and manages the activities associated with our inventory process. * This position requires the ability to lift over 20 lbs. on an occasional basis, and/or move up to 0 - 20 lbs. on a constant basis. This position may require frequent standing and/or walking and or constant sitting. Performs all aspects of the job as accurately and efficiently as possible while providing service excellence at all times. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.

* Minimum of a four-year business or related degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience. * Prior management experience with a minimum of four years of prior warehouse distribution and/or city desk experience preferred. * Good knowledge of electrical products or systems highly desired. * Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles. * Prefer the able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. * Ability to walk, stand or lift during the day is preferred. * Prior experience operating a forklift is preferred. * Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, reading, and customer service skills are preferred with the ability to effectively plan and organize. * Ability to read, write and speak in English preferred. * Prefer strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Internet, Email and SAP software. * Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
