Texture has offices located in the heart of Silicon Valley in Menlo Park, California and in New York City near Times Square.
Texture is looking for an Interactive Developer to help in their mission to redefine how people enjoy the world’s best magazines. You’ll play a vital role in planning and developing the emails, website, and display and rich media units for Texture, the all-you-can-read-in-a-single-subscription magazine app.
As a member of a Marketing team of 12 people, the right candidate will be the lead developer for the group’s ongoing campaigns and suggest ways to better code and manage them.
- Work closely with creative directors, copywriters, designers and project leads to develop digital assets on a tight schedule. Collaborate with business and creative teams to clarify objectives, revise creative, and ensure accuracy for all projects.
- Develop HTML code for marketing emails and templates (mobile-optimized and/or responsive) and troubleshoot/optimize existing templates.
- Develop coding for banners, landing pages, interstitials, and in-app messaging.
- Develop and facilitate QA process for email templates and programs.
- Help streamline email operations while resolving issues and refining processes for launching emails. Be responsible for staying current on industry trends, while putting Texture at the forefront for email design and best practices.
- Drive the best customer experience solution. Be responsible for maintaining brand and content standards across all marketing communications.
- Provide effective feedback to drive successful designs, while inspiring and enhancing the efforts of the creative teams.
- 3+ years of professional experience in web design or multimedia.
- Highly proficient in Dreamweaver, CSS and HTML. Experience with ExactTarget, Marketo, or other ESP. Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Proficiency in Flash and HTML5 is a plus.
- Some graphic design, layout, typography, image manipulation and color correction skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to thrive in deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage competing projects while identifying creative solutions quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
