Summary
he Account Executive is responsible for the management and growth of Teradata’s Marketing Applications solutions and services footprint in an assigned set of large, existing customer accounts. As the Account Executive, you are entrusted with ensuring all customers are delighted, while leveraging existing and new relationships to promote adoption of additional solutions in our portfolio. The Account Executive will play a key role in development of long term account plans as well as the execution of strategic initiatives within the assigned accounts. Responsibilities
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with marketing executives, to drive customers’ value through investment in our solutions and services. * Lead and facilitate quarterly business reviews. * Leverage experience, expertise, and relationships developed throughout the account to consistently increase our presence and annual revenue. * Secure and publish compelling customer references. * Obtain renewal of annual software/services subscriptions, as well as growth of subscriptions, through add-on and new solution sales. * Achieve operational excellence by maintaining an accurate view of the business in CRM system, building and maintaining a healthy pipeline, forecasting sales accuracy and managing to quarterly accountability. * Ensure strategy and management of the accounts is aligned with growth objectives
Ideal Candidate
* 5 years’ of solution sales experience in software and services * Demonstrated success selling into large enterprise accounts * Proven track record of success in enterprise sales to CXO level decision makers * Experience with marketing applications is preferred * Strategic account planning and consultative selling skills * Executive presence, presentation and communication skills - both written and verbal * Strong time management skills and proven work ethic * Passion for winning and customer success * Positive attitude and focus on the customer * Team player who can embrace collaboration and drive coordination of activities across a diverse set of internal peers and support stakeholders * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
