Responsibilities
OBJECTIVE: The Product Manager will be responsible for the implementation of key brand strategies and initiatives for the Nurse segment in support of U.S. late stage product commercialization plans. This individual will report to the Associate Director, Patient/Nurse Marketing. The Product Manager will collaborate with multiple functional groups, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Network and Payer Marketing, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, Patient Advocacy, U.S. Market Access, and Medical Affairs. ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Collaborate with key thought leaders, academic institutions, and professional groups to validate commercial approaches - Appropriately contribute to key opinion leader and advocacy development programs to ensure alignment with strategic planning - Collaborate on the execution of advisory board plan to gain customer insights and inform the Brand Plan - Participate to identify market research needs, align on market research plans and translate findings into product strategies - Collaborate with Sales Management to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation of promotional programs in the field to include the Clinical Nurse Educator team - Manage tactics to support end of product life cycle for current multiple myeloma product - Implementing and executing nurse-focused promotional programs and tactics to ensure delivery against brand strategies. To include development of work plans, routing of programs through the Promotional Material Review Team Process (PMRT), and the development of KPI – measurement frameworks and metrics to measure effectives - Effectively manage vendor, agency and consultant relationships to ensure alignment with brand strategies - Ensure understanding of and adherence to all relevant internal and external policies or guidelines related to the team’s activities and deliverables - Managing budget and expenses ensuring that resources are utilized effectively efficiently, and compliantly
Ideal Candidate
QUALIFICATIONS: - BA/BS degree in business, marketing or science required. MBA a plus - Minimum of 2-5 years of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience with a strong preference for experience in oncology marketing. Hematology/oncology marketing a plus. Launch experience in oncology a plus - Knowledge and understanding of the drug development, regulatory review and commercialization processes for specialized products (oncology preferred) - Experience in successfully representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory/legal review of launch promotional materials - Enthusiasm, confidence, ability to work on multiple tasks, problem solving ability, creativity and ability to prioritize effectively to meet personal, team and company goals - Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills; able to communicate in a concise, engaging and convincing manner
