Summary
Taboola is seeking an experienced Publisher Account Director to focus on Enterprise Accounts and lead a team of 3-5 Account Managers. The Account Director will be responsible for the overall growth of a large Enterprise, dynamic book of business, development of strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service to the biggest publishers and media companies in the world. This person will manage and mentor a team to exceed internal goals and foster a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Account Managers to deliver excellent customer service and provide consultative support for publishers’ strategy and execution. * Be the “face of the account team” for executives internally and senior level client relationships. * Ability to attract and build a team of strong, talented account managers – including hiring, onboarding and career development for the entire team. * Create Account Management sales plans identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities and driving to closure. * Track and analyze performance for book of business to ensure all accounts are meeting or exceeding sales plans. * Manage the renewal of large annual contracts and drive to closure. * Develop expert-level understanding of Taboola’s platform and value proposition. Discover growth opportunities, identify close plans and eliminate business obstacles. * Maintain active customer conversations through regular and consistent engagement, demonstrating your market knowledge and industry expertise. * Work with Product Management to ensure that Account Managers and Clients have a voice in the product roadmap strategy. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and team leaders to inform product alignment for account growth. * Partner with the Media Sales Team to grow revenue for publishers. * Ensure overall customer satisfaction for team of Account Managers with the Tabbola platform and services. * Up to 25% travel will be required.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS required; MBA or equivalent preferred. * 8+ years of client facing experience in online advertising (publisher experience preferred). * Solid understanding of web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem, including web advertising measurements and analytics. * Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills to go above and beyond for your clients. * Demonstrated a history of revenue attainment and strong managerial skills. * Proven success in maintaining and growing client revenue through upselling or cross-selling to clients. * People management experience with proven success in hiring and developing talent. * Ability to lead teams and manage people. * Very strong analytical thinking abilities, project management and organization skills. * Ability to present persuasive arguments to support recommendations internally and externally. * Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to a C-level audience. * Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a highly dynamic environment. * Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Strong business orientation.
