Summary
The Mobile Device Management Lead is responsible for supporting the mobile device management platform and the deployment of mobile applications across the SHC environment. This role is additionally responsible for defining and implementing mobile device management policies across the SHC environment, and serve as a source of thought leadership for future deployments of mobile device technology.
Responsibilities

C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford's patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions. * Plan, create, deploy, and maintain security policies to be enforced and pushed to mobile devices. * Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile device management tools in the environment, and establish policies and procedures for mobile device management across the enterprise, including provisioning, de-provisioning, field support, remote diagnosis, and troubleshooting. * Configure and troubleshoot mobile device management receiver clients on end user mobile devices. * Manage the distribution of mobile applications along with license management for authorized mobile devices. * Serve as a source of level 3 engineering support for mobile device-related issues in the environment, and work with desktop engineering and information security teams as required to resolve incidents. * Develop and maintain documentation of mobile device management system architecture and configuration to ensure successful ongoing support. * Analyze business requirements and recommend technologies that will enhance availability, reliability, scalability and security of mobile devices in the environment. * Plan, install, and test new or updated mobile device management systems/components to optimize and enhance the MDM solution.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. **Experience:** * Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. **License/Certification:** Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification. * Strong experience managing enterprise mobile device usage and connectivity on a variety of platforms that include iOS, Android, and Windows on both mobile and tablet devices. * Strong experience with Airwatch and related mobile device management tools. * Thorough understanding of networking & wireless technologies (e.g., GSM, CDMA, LTE). * Forward looking knowledge of mobility trends including remote file management, security best practices, interoperability of strong authentication techniques (PIV). * Solid working knowledge of MS Active Directory Services. * Ability to support the assessment of future mobile technologies, including smartphones, tablets, MDMs, mobile application management systems and other mobile technologies. **Physical Requirements and Working Conditions** * The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions in which the job is typically performed are available from the Occupational Health Department.
