Summary
Are you a media-planning mastermind who can engineer a media performance engine? Can you wax poetic about how media builds brands? If you want to roll up your sleeves and dig into the sales cycle for strategic and high potential accounts (using your expertise to guide buyers through the sales process) Spiceworks might have your dream job! We’re looking for a Media Strategist to join our energetic, multidisciplinary team of business development professionals — someone with a consultative sales support approach who can build fruitful client relationships and foster future opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Put your knowledge of the media landscape and marketing goals to work * Pitch in on the creation of custom media campaign proposals * Partner with our research, content, social, and live event business development leads to weave media into holistic marketing solutions * Make recommendations to clients and prospects on how their branding and direct response goals might be addressed with our media portfolio * Handle client RFPs and proactively identify opportunities for pitching * Communicate specs, design, and overall vision to the ad trafficking team once a campaign is sold to ensure client obligations are met * Keep tabs on strategic client activity: The trafficking team has logistics covered, but you’ll always be in the know, making sure campaigns are tracking towards what was proposed
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years proven media planning experience * Serious communication chops: You’re a strong writer and talker with phenomenal presentation powers! * Hands-on experience crafting proposals with placement, pricing, CTA, and landing page recommendations * Knowledge of programmatic advertising: positives, negatives, major players, deal structures, and execution * Expert-level knowledge of mobile, desktop, video, and native placements — and their use cases
