Summary
As a Commercial Bid Lead you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the bid preparation and will be representing the business unit in all commercial topics during the acquisition phase for power plant projects primarily in Latin America.
Responsibilities
* Co-drive activities/strategy implementation together with Sales. * Lead all commercial aspects of the bid preparation and ensure a high quality bid. * Lead all activities related to the New Collaboration Model (NCM). * Implement concepts and strategies for bid preparation (e.g. contract structure, FX, tax, NCM, payment and cancellation schedule). * Capture relevant regional market data, including deep understanding of customer value/revenue drivers. * Follow, complete and document all required Commercial processes. * Review and release contract commenting on bid / risk envelope. * Perform risk assessment. * Ensure correct and transparent sales calculation. * Involve project execution colleagues for critical topics in the acquisition phase and ensure smooth handover of project to execution.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree, MBA Preferred * 5+ years of work experience, ideally in bid management, sales or project management with exposure to finance /commerce topics. * Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups. * Strong quality and organization orientation. Strong writing, presentation and meeting facilitation skills. * Well developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express technical information (or data) to non technical associates, peers and senior management. * Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments. * Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). * Demonstrated experience in working with and supporting cross functional teams of professionals and managers. * Flexibility and willingness for potential of 5% travel internationally.
