Quantitative Insights Analyst

We are a skilled team of design, math, finance, and technology geeks who think differently about trust within the financial system and decided to do something about it.

As an Earnest Quantitative Insights Analyst, you will:

• Build data models for business intelligence
• Scope, spec, and implement KPI reporting for all the functions of the business (e.g. Product, Marketing, Risk, etc.)
• Develop and revise KPI metrics to increase business impact over time
• Collaborate with Business Analysts in developing tactical and strategic insights and standardizing calculations
• Advise prioritization and gather requirements for analytics projects
• Recruit more Analysts and mentor the entire company on performing analytics

(Required):

• Minimum 5 years experience in detailed data modeling/ analytics
• Advanced mastery of SQL (e.g. making queries super efficient, keeping our library of SQL code, clean, well-commented, and well-organized)
• Strong ability to communicate with a wide variety of business functions
• Demonstrated ability to help teams and analysts translate ambiguous questions into semantically-meaningful, concrete data analysis
• Confidence in making clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Enthusiasm for learning new things and going deep into detailed data analysis
• Familiarity with a statistical modeling language (e.g. R, Python)

• A Masters or other advanced degree
• Ability to work with visualization software such as Tableau or D3
• Leadership or managerial experience
