Quantitative Insights Analyst

As an **Earnest Quantitative Insights Analyst**, you will: * Build data models for business intelligence * Scope, spec, and implement KPI reporting for all the functions of the business (e.g. Product, Marketing, Risk, etc.) * Develop and revise KPI metrics to increase business impact over time * Collaborate with Business Analysts in developing tactical and strategic insights and standardizing calculations * Advise prioritization and gather requirements for analytics projects * Recruit more Analysts and mentor the entire company on performing analytics

**(Required):** * Minimum 5 years experience in detailed data modeling/ analytics * Advanced mastery of SQL (e.g. making queries super efficient, keeping our library of SQL code, clean, well-commented, and well-organized) * Strong ability to communicate with a wide variety of business functions * Demonstrated ability to help teams and analysts translate ambiguous questions into semantically-meaningful, concrete data analysis * Confidence in making clear recommendations to senior stakeholders * Enthusiasm for learning new things and going deep into detailed data analysis * Familiarity with a statistical modeling language (e.g. R, Python) **Also valuable** * A Masters or other advanced degree * Ability to work with visualization software such as Tableau or D3 * Leadership or managerial experience
