Summary
The Head of Culture is responsible for nurturing and shaping the overall cultural strategy for the global team. The Head of Culture will work closely with executive leadership to make culture a strong component of Rubicon Project’s overall business strategy. This role will partner with executive leadership to ensure the team feels invested in the business strategy of the company and will help drive and measure business results. This role will manage the Culture Team, which is responsible for employee engagement, philanthropic efforts, recognition programs and the upholding of our company values as our differentiator. This role reports directly to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer.
Responsibilities
* Create and establish a strategy and delivery plan for large scale culture change, which will enable the organization to deliver current and future strategies, engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels and working collaboratively with others to achieve outcomes. * Carry out GAP analysis of current culture plus planned transformation activities against a newly developed culture framework; formulate the metrics and measurement for the development of a culture scorecard and produce reports to demonstrate improvement, with senior stakeholders * Break down barriers that interfere with the company’s productivity to further develop ways to measure and report on ROP (Return on Productivity) * Facilitate culture workshops to map culture impact for each service based on end state * Establish best practices for driving and measuring cross-function/team business planning; align organizational goals and departmental goals globally * Establish best practices for diversity and inclusion * Work with key stakeholders to improve organizational efficiency * Act as coach for senior leaders in helping them fulfill the role of cultural leaders * Partner with key stakeholders to create work environment reflective of our values and conducive to productivity * Partner with the People team to ensure every new hire is a cultural fit by aligning on an Employee Value Proposition
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree or related experience * Experience managing and leading teams in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial company * Experience working in a global company with a matrix structure * Experience with large scale organizational change efforts * Demonstrated experience working through change management principles and tools * Excellent communicator with high interpersonal savvy, and strong influencing skills * Strong business acumen * Experience with M&A and integration work and knowledge of key people impacts * Strong EQ (emotional intelligence), with experience coaching managers/leaders * Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast changing and growing organization * Analytic ability and desire to explore data, benchmarking against other organizations * Aligned with cultural values
