Responsibilities
- Provide Post-sales Requirements analysis and development support to multiple Enterprise teams. - Help evaluate, define, and improve process around requirements development and handoff in these areas. - Help develop Single Sign On (SSO) creation processes and documentation. - Configure inbound and outbound SSO using PingFederate and track all relevant details in the SSO inventory document. - Provide a technical resource during SSO kickoff conversations and act as a liaison with partner technical teams as needed during development and testing phases. - Develop and improve descriptive documentation around new partner onboarding. - Provide a technical resource to support conversations around new partner onboarding. - Interface with Partner/Client technical teams to help with solution development in cases where these requirements push us into the brave new world of previously undeveloped functionality. - Act as an escalation path for certain production support issues. - Planning: related to the tasks associated with business analysis and the software development lifecycle (KanBan, Scrum, Agile). - Stakeholder Analysis: identify the stakeholders who will be impacted by requested changes and requirements and make sure those dependencies are communicated. - Risk assessment: identify risk, probability, impact and mitigation strategy. - Relationship Management: assess and grow relationships with external partners and 3rd party vendors. Determine when and how to leverage these relationships as new problems present themselves. - Elicitation: questioning techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder’s needs, and the ability to ask questions that lead to an understanding of the business need rather than what they want. - Manage Requirements: understand the requirements change process, and traceability. (Help to build this out in the current organization.) - Interface analysis: the understanding of technology infrastructure and how it interconnects, including sharing data to achieve a business goal. - Writing requirements using different approaches such as use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and state charts, data dictionaries, class or entity relationship diagrams. - User experience, knowing how a user interface helps the user to successfully complete a task, also known as usability.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in some combination of: business analysis, systems analysis, programming, operations, or other technical pursuit that relies heavily on problem solving and learning from your mistakes. - Must be adaptable, proactive, energetic, and willing to learn and deliver on a variety of tasks and responsibilities - Superior verbal and written communications skills - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous product innovation - Background with Agile, Scrum, and other software development methodologies is strongly preferred - Familiarity with JIRA is a bonus - Must be strong with attention to detail including proven ability to manage simultaneously competing priorities - Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary - Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
