Senior Front-End Engineer

• Develop new user interfaces & web pages from pixel-perfect designs for desktop, mobile and tablet
• Provide feedback to product requirements of user stories during story time meetings
• Participate in weekly QA Power Hour
• Self-test code against user story requirements before submitting pull requests
• Document code according to Brax technical standards
• Write optimized code that follows standard best practices
• Complete assigned stories in planned sprint cycle (2 weeks)

• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating GUI development expertise

• 3+ years of experience as a UI Engineer, Front-End Developer, Game GUI Developer or similar role

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent professional experience

• Detailed knowledge of fundamental web technologies including HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience with data presentation and visualization libraries such as D3, HighCharts, FusionCharts, etc

• Track record of good time management, prioritizing projects and estimating work

• Experience interacting on a collaborative team and working directly with UI/UX designers

• Excellent communication (written and spoken), presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Experience with Bootstrap, JQuery, Laravel’s Blade or similar templating engines

• Experience with Git, JIRA Agile, Confluence or similar software development tools

Bonus Points

• Great visual graphic design and UI design experience (aka Designer & Developer)

• Experience with SASS, SCSS, LESS, Gulp, Grunt, or similar stylesheet language tools

• Ability to rapidly prototype proof of concepts

• Previous SaaS (software as a service) experience

• Contribute to open source community, code repository or blog online
