Skyword is seeking a User Experience (UX) Architect to join our Technology team in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Our ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with the product team to create wireframes, define user flows, and write interface copy. The candidate will define rich user experiences and user interfaces for our enterprise web applications. * Define user interfaces based on product requirements and input from other team members * Develop, document, and maintain user-interface specifications in the form of user flows and wireframes * Articulate product requirements through simple and elegant interaction design * Work with product management and visual design team members to refine user experiences * Be an advocate for our users and influence the product team and the overall organization to achieve solutions that are right for users * Assist with the internationalization and localization of the platform

**Requirements** * Bachelors degree in Interaction Design or related field, or 1+ years professional experience in designing for enterprise web applications * Solid understanding of user-centered design principles as they apply to web-based applications * Exceptional written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to present design ideas to members of the development and QA teams * Solid decision-making skills and the ability to articulate your reasoning * Experience with content management systems and social networking platforms and an understanding of the content marketing space and search engine optimization (SEO) preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous work experience or internships as an Information Architect, User Experience Designer/Architect, Business Analyst, or Interaction Designer * Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies * Experience using JIRA, Axure, and prototyping tools * Online portfolio with sample deliverable
