Summary
The Head of Exchanges and Vendor Management is responsible for leading all commercial efforts related to our Exchange and Vendor strategies. This position helps negotiate contracts for new exchanges and renewals and establishes relationships with third party value-added services, such as verification companies. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Business Development executive with direct experience in the Digital Marketing and Advertising Space.
Responsibilities
* Be the commercial lead for all Exchange Relationships * Work in partnership with the Product Development organization on driving the Supply Strategy * Negotiate contracts for Quantcast Advertise with partners, including verification services and research companies * Provide thought leadership to help drive supply and grow critical areas of investment * Partner closely with our Publisher organization to coordinate efforts with Publisher customers across Quantcast Advertise and Measure * Be well versed in industry trends regarding supply efforts * Keep stakeholders apprised of progress against goals and strategic plans * Build an intimate understanding of Quantcast products and their place in the industry
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred * 8 to 10 years experience in Business Development * Current or previous management experience (5+ years) required * Ideal candidate will have experience at the director level * Proven track record of establishing and exceeding team and individual goals * Experience hiring, training, and managing a team, as well as developing and retaining talent * Extensive experience in driving projects that are business impactful * Strong client-facing experience * Strategic thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead internal stakeholders * Experience in programmatic/RTB * Active in industry trade and networking events * Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) * Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
