The Systems Architect/Technical Lead will work closely with the program manager, developers, testers and business analysts in building a Salesforce based grant management system for a federal government agency.
- Responsible for overall system architecture.
- Managing the project schedule and ensuring on-time deliverables.
- Working with the Program Manager to manage an integrated project schedule.
- Responsible for managing the deployment schedule to ensure timely production deployment.
- Responsible for architecture and design documents.
- Interacting with multiple customer stakeholders.
- Defining and monitoring the software development process.
- Working with multiple development teams to ensure timely development and delivery of the grant management system.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years software development experience. An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years leading software development teams.
- 3+ years’ experience in Agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment.
- 2+ years’ experience on federal government contracts.
- Experience managing project schedules.
- Experience in web applications development.
- Experience with cloud computing and enterprise applications.
- Experience in object oriented analysis and design.
- Experience writing design and architecture documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development processes.
- Experience presenting technical design to customer.
- Experience deploying large enterprise systems to production.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, strategic, and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison with different levels of management.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required. Candidate selected must be able to successfully pass an extensive client background investigation.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with the Salesforce1/Force.com PaaS software platform.
- Experience using Salesforce data tools.
- Experience with Informatica, Mulesoft.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
- Salesforce Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience with Oracle.
