Summary
The Regional Conquest Specialist (RCS) is responsible for achieving and exceeding the assigned region conquest targets made by displacing competitive provided solutions. The RCS will develop and execute a region conquest selling strategy targeting high-potential competitive accounts, new competitive accounts identified by the RCS or Region team member and non-user accounts. The RCS will be responsible for reporting timely sales forecasts, pipeline position and sales related activities. The RCS will serve as the Region Conquest expert developing and sharing successful competitive selling strategies and will support Pitney Bowes Field Sales Representatives and Independent Dealer partners to achieve their conquest goals.
Responsibilities
* Responsible achieving/exceeding the Conquest sales quota targets. * Grow Pitney Bowes market share by successfully displacing meter/mailing and/or other Mailstream Solutions placed by competitors. * Gain a foot-hold in accounts with competitive meter/mailing solutions by placing Pitney Bowes solutions for other new applications. * Identify and sell to other competitive users not previously identified by PB. * Develop a qualified sales pipeline by Mail Finishing and Solutions lines of business to support assigned sales targets. * Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and utilize the PB opportunity management system to track pipeline of opportunities. * Develop and execute an Account Development with competitive identified accounts. * Document personal sales contacts and activities with each assigned account in Salesforce.com. * Support growth of the competitive data base with additional information for each assigned account and newly identified accounts including competitive solutions installed, key contacts/decision makers and the decision making process and timeline. * Stay current with all Pitney Bowes and Competitive solutions, products and offerings and maintain the appropriate level of solutions certification as defined by PB L&P. * Communicate the Region competitive marketing information and competitive selling strategies with Region Management and other Field Sales Representatives. * Participate with other sales reps in the Region in team-selling to other competitive accounts as needed. * Periodically participate in net-working / best-practice sharing with Region Conquest Specialists from other regions. * Provide timely feedback to Region Management, and/or Customer Marketing with opportunities to improve Pitney Bowes competitiveness and/or add Customer Value.
Ideal Candidate
* Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Mailstream market selling in a highly competitive environment. * Demonstrated success with a majority of sales results coming from acquiring new customers taking market share away from competitors. * Strong knowledge of both Pitney Bowes and Competitive Mailstream solutions, products and services. * Ability to plan and execute a defined solutions-selling sales process. * Ability to develop an account development plan, schedule and deliver a variety of value-added contacts over time,\. * Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to plan and document sales activities and capture account information. * Strong relationship building skills and ability to help solve business problems. * Excellent communication skills delivered through a variety of communication channels - specifically including face-to-face, written, email, group seminars, other
