Summary
Exciting opportunity for accomplished business development/sales leader to lead the North American business development team and liaise with marketing and sales leadership on target account strategy, lead generation and engagement through prospecting, opportunity and pipeline creation, with proven ability to make a direct impact on sales revenue. This positions will work with the sales team to understand our customers, target account and prospects, coach and mentor the team to improve efficiency and increase market share.
Responsibilities
* Manage Business Development Representatives on the North American team and meet quarterly with marketing managers and BDRs in other GEOs on core processes and best practices * Create, measure and report on annual and quarterly goals for the Business Development team * Work closely with marketing operations regarding lead processes, lead assignment rules, dashboards and metrics, and inbound lead assignment/management * Work directly with Account Executives and Business Development Representatives on outbound strategy * Manage academia licensing to universities and inbound inquiries
Ideal Candidate
* 5-10 years of experience in managing, coaching, motivating sales/business development teams history of leadership and goal attainment; preferably in software/IT industry or Supply Chain * Innovative, creative approach to sales enablement and positively influencing others to drive exceptional results * Territory Management and Development experience * CRM (Salesforce.com) optimization experience
