Responsibilities
* Responsible for achieving goals and executing sales plans with assigned customers in channel through development and leadership of an effective team. * Has deep understanding of channel decision levels and actively looks to build relationships in order to better deliver programs and solutions. * Highly proficient organizational skills to position available resources for the greatest effect, set priorities, manage competing priorities, and synchronize complex initiatives across internal and customer business assets. * Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively then advance to development and implementation of strategies delivering short and long term profitable growth. * Effectively anticipates and solves for problems through creation of appropriate countermeasures. Establishes and demonstrates a culture of executional excellence throughout sales and cross-functional customer teams holding individuals accountable and assuring each is properly resourced to deliver the required results.
Ideal Candidate
* Requires BA/BS preferably in business, sales/marketing or related field and extensive sales or industry specific experience preferably with large accounts. * Experience should include development of people to effective management of customer, broker, and vendor relationships as well as their overall business accumen. * Must be able to travel frequently (up to 50%) including overnight travel. * Demonstrated skills and attributes include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal). * Ability to function independently. * Ability to analyze financial data and to understand technical data.
