Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team, leading outbound product marketing activities specifically for our New Relic Mobile product, used by thousands of developers to ensure the performance of literally hundreds of millions of mobile app instances. If you’re looking to make an impact in mobile, this is a great way to do it! - In this role you will be the “CMO of the product”, owning product & competitive positioning, sales enablement, market & competitive analysis, product launches, customer development, and more for New Relic Mobile. Ideal Candidate
- Experience building a consumer-facing mobile app on iOS and/or Android, as a developer, product manager, or team leader -- and having gone through the agony and ecstasy of driving adoption and engagement of your app through continual product evolution. - Experience building and selling tools and technologies for teams building and running mobile apps, as a product manager, product marketer, sales engineer, or customer support specialist, with a large collection of stories about their pain points and how to solve them. - 3+ years as a developer, product manager, and/or team leader building a consumer-facing mobile app; and/or product marketing, product management, sales engineering, and/or customer support training professional at a company building mobile apps, or tools for mobile app developers or operations teams - Experience positioning technical products to both technical and business buyers - Demonstrated ability to distill simple positioning from complex products - Technical depth and curiosity balanced with a strong business acumen - Familiarity with the mobile app technology market landscape, including mobile programming languages, frameworks, APIs, and tools - Experience working effectively across marketing and sales organizations - Outstanding oral and written communication skills
