Product Designer

In the role of Product Designer, you'll play a critical role in evolving our design playbook - from strategy and customer journey, to wireframes, mockups, and prototypes - enhancing the user's experience across the entire Fluxx product suite. In partnership with the Design Team, the Product Designer will run effective cross-functional design sprints involving Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Engineering. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, and be responsible for providing design leadership along the way. You will use all kinds of data to understand where you are properly challenged by a varied range of products for web and mobile applications, and other initiatives playing a role in your professional development.

* Partner with Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering to identify requirements, use-cases, and intended behavior within the Fluxx product suite * Use data collected from research, user testing and market analysis to create truly user-centric designs * Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions across use-cases by creating process flows, wireframes, motion studies, prototypes, and high fidelity mock-ups * Collaborate with Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle to iterate on and deliver a user experience that meets the high quality bar * Develop and maintain detailed design documentation including specifications, redlines, and style guides * Prototype designs into interactive prototypes, demonstrating usage cross-platform * Make use product analytics to segement and contiously improve the user experience * Regularly present your work to senior leaders for review and feedback

* 5+ years' experience turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences for web and mobile * 3+ years experience in JavaScript/jQuery and SCSS/SASS * Experience owning the design process from ideation through high fidelity deisgn to product launch * Proficiency desining for iOS, Android and web alongside a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and mobile web design * Expertise in developing information architecture, interaction models, customer flows, schematics, and visual design for products and services * Strong communication and presentation skills that allow you to communicate and defend complex design ideas clearly and persuasively, influencing peers and leaders along the way * Deep knowledge of modern UI patterns * A portfolio demonstrating your passion for simple, intuitive, and beautiful user-centered designs *
