- Process and issuance of more complex policy changes according to assigned authority and underwriting instructions.
- Responsible for analyzing and underwriting assigned risks that require mid-level of underwriting authority for multiple lines of business or a high level of authority within a mono-line.
- Applies underwriting risk selection techniques to determine the acceptability of new and renewal insurance
- Analyzes, evaluates and classifies assigned applications and refers to inspection reports and financial statements to determine acceptability based on rate guidelines and establishes rates
- Renews previously underwritten risks; analyzes and evaluates loss reports, audits and other developed information to determine the need for modification of coverage or premium as well as the need for loss control consultation or policy cancellation
- Recognizes workflow inefficiencies and recommends solutions to resolve.
- Meet productivity and quality requirements as established in department objectives; collaborates with team members to manage work inventories.
- Fields phone calls from external and internal customers; works to resolve service issues and responds to coverage and rating issues/questions.
- Provides technical support as needed to agents on processes and procedures.
- Builds positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Reviews/approves endorsements within authority level
- Participate in projects, as directed by management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Working Conditions
This is a 40 hour a week position. The Core Business hours for this position are 12pm-9pm.
