Summary
Lytx is looking for the skills and expertise of a Senior Sales Engineer. The Senior Sales Engineer will lead Sales Engineering efforts to provide service to our clients by understanding and identifying their needs and engineering adaption of products and services to meet those needs. The Sales Engineer will present technical Lytx products to potential clients and translate engineering language like program specs and technical requirements to be easily understood, explain how complex products work, and demonstrate how the product could be bring value to clients.
Responsibilities
* Have deep understanding of technical specifications and capabilities on how our software works and what problems it solves for our clients * Create new strategies for technical solutions to streamline back-office integrations between our products and our clients * Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues that must be addressed; recommending options and courses of action; implementing solutions * Identify areas where we can improve ease of deployment and client satisfaction through technical solutions and implementing strategies * Assist sales process in providing product and service technical guidance, demonstrations and presentations * Present technical products and solutions to clients and prospects, translating technical capabilities into client value * Prepares cost estimates for related client needs, consulting with engineers, architects, and other technical personnel to define and provide solutions * Collaborate with engineers and product management to get critical industry and client solutions prioritized into the roadmap * Maintains professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, publications and organizations to identify industry leading best practices to apply
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years’ experience in a technical industry * Highly skilled in problem solving, analysis and requirements gathering in a technical environment * Proven innovative and critical thinking skills * Solid decision making skills, must have ability to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions based on client need analysis * Motivated and collaborative leader with exceptional networking skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
